Description
 |
Wax
15 is a white, low shrinkage, dense, hard, blend of wax and
minerals that can be cast and carved. It replicates the mold
surface detail and finish when cast. Tool cuts are smooth
and radiant. Use a soft cloth to hand polish dull surfaces
to a satin gleam.

Methods
of Use
 |
Wax
15 can be poured in 74 Series, Fast 72-40, Silicone, Gel and
Alginate N molds. To soften latex, make continual pours of
Wax 15. A small trial casting is always recommended to be
sure castings release satisfactorily and do not damage the
mold material, although most heat resistant resins and metal
molds are suitable. Due to high mineral content, Wax 15 cannot
be burned out. |
Caution
 |
Hot wax ignites easily and can cause severe
burns. Do not heat with open flame. Do not heat higher than
300ºF as vapors can ignite. |
