Gel
Plastic-75 consists of two liquids, Part A and Part B, which
immediately self-thickens and gels to a brushable or trowellable
consistency after mixing one-to-one by weight or volume. It
then cures to a hard, strong RTV (room temperature vulcanizing)
plastic at room temperature. Gel Plastic-75 is is useful as
a patching compound and adhesive. It is ideal for building
mold shells (mother molds) over brushed-on rubber molds.
In 3 minutes,
Gel Plastic-75 thickens to a paste. The mix changes color
and thickens to a buttery, non-sag paste as the liquid components
of Gel are stirred together. A shell can be built up in two
or three coats, applied ten minutes apart. A strong, lightweight
mold shell can be constructed in less than an hour and demolded
in around 4 hours. |
